Check the scope before procurement
Confirm the applicable drawings, conductor sizes, connection details, corrosion exposure, route lengths, quantities, test requirements, equipment interfaces and material finish. Distinguish the DC-side, AC-side, structural bonding, transformer/inverter and lightning-protection scope where the project documents do so.
Do not use a generic “solar earthing kit” description as a substitute for the EPC specification. The materials must match the approved design and the project’s applicable electrical and safety requirements.
What to include with your RFQ
Share the plant location, rooftop or ground-mounted application, capacity only as project context, BOQ or drawing, quantity schedule, preferred makes if specified, required documentation and delivery timeline. Capacity alone is not enough to determine the exact materials required.

Can you quote for a large ground-mounted solar project?
Yes, submit the material BOQ, project location, quantities and delivery schedule. The quotation depends on the actual specification and scope.
Does this include installation and testing?
Material supply can be quoted separately. Installation, testing and commissioning requirements must be explicitly scoped and may require appropriately qualified partners.
Can you decide the BOQ from plant capacity alone?
No. Capacity does not determine every earthing item. Use the approved design, drawings and quantity schedule for a comparable quotation.
